This course is designed to teach students how to effectively manage staff performance and evaluate staff performance. In addition, students will explore how to prepare, conduct, and follow-up after an employee performance review.
Course Level: This course is for the introductory level supervisor that is responsible for managing and hiring employees.
Targeted Learners: This course would be applicable to all first year managers with less than 1 year experience managing and evaluating direct reports.

This course will enable learners to:
- Understand the role of goal setting in performance management.
- Identify the role of the shared management model in managing performance
- List strategies to motivate employees to improve their performance
